Terms and Conditions
1. Registration and receipt of full payment is required for access to the PHYSICAL conference on 15th and 16th May 2026.
2. These Terms and Conditions shall be read together with any other rules and/or terms and conditions applicable to the Event, and shall apply to all segments of the Event. By registering for this Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all rules relating thereto.
3. Each participant’s personal data will be collected, used, disclosed and/or processed by Emergency Radiology Subsection of the Singapore Radiological Society (the Organisers), and its appointed partners for the following purposes:
(a) for SERS or its sponsors and event partners to provide goods and services to you or parties designated by you and matters ancillary thereto;
(b) for verification and record of your personal particulars including comparing it with information from other sources and using the information to communicate with you;
(c) for research and analysis, including surveys and polls;
(d) to send you notices, information, promotions and updates including marketing and advertising materials as appropriate.
4. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you:
(a) consent to SERS (and SRS) collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your personal data for the purposes as described in Clause 3 above;
(b) consent to SERS transferring your personal data to the sponsors for this event for the purposes as described in Clause 3 above.
5. Participants shall bear their own costs and expenses incurred and/or arising from their participation in the Event and no reimbursement may be sought from SERS nor its partners for this event.
6. The participant shall not, without the prior written consent of SERS, speak to the press or other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Event.
7. SERS’s decision on all matters in relation to the Event is final. No enquiries, appeals, verbal or written, shall be entertained. The participant shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by SERS concerning, without limitation, these Terms and Conditions, the rules of participation in the Event, and any other matters relating to the Event. SERS reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice or to terminate or postpone this event at any time without prior notice.
8. SERS reserves the right to amend or vary any of these Terms and Conditions and the Event without prior notice to any participant. SERS further reserves the right, without any liability to any participant(s), to disqualify any participant(s) from attending and/or participating in the Event at any time at its discretion.
9. The participant shall indemnify and keep SERS and its related/affiliated companies, officers, agents and employees (the “Indemnified Parties”) fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, claims and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the participant's breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.
10. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The participant irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore. No third party shall have any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Party) Act of the Republic of Singapore.
11. No agreement shall arise or be constituted, and no obligation will be incurred by SERS or by its related/affiliated companies, officers and/or agents by reason of the participant(s)’ participation in the registration of the event or by reason of anything done or omitted to be done by the participant(s) as a result of or on account of the registration to the event.
12. Each participant accepts full and complete responsibility for their own safety and welfare at all times and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, agrees that SERS shall not be liable or responsible for any and all losses, damages, costs and/or expenses (of any nature whatsoever) suffered by any participant arising from any failure or refusal, for whatever reason, to deliver or transfer, whether by SERS or any sponsor, or make good on any promise or offer to the participant(s).
